How to send your application:
It is recommended that you send your British passport Hong Kong application by registered post or a courier. For extra security do not write on the outside of the envelope that it contains your passport application.
Supporting Documents:
You will need:
- a passport application form
- the correct fee
- 2 new passport photos
Depending on what type of application you are making, you may also need
- your birth certificate
- your parents birth certificate
- marriage certificate
- divorce papers
- change of name documents
- affidavits
- your application form countersigned
- one passport photo certified

Download and print in black and white. All forms
must be completed in black ink using BLOCK CAPITALS.

Passport & Courier fees:
- A 32-page adult passport costs £128.00
- A 48 page adult passport costs £154.50
- A 32-page Child passport costs £81.50
Courier Fee – You will be required to pay a courier fee to cover the cost of the return of supporting documents from the Regional Passport Processing Centre in Hong Kong and for the return of the passport from the UK.

How to pay:
You should pay by credit card using the credit card form. The cards they accept are Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. They will not accept Maestro cards, American Express, JBC or Diners’ Club cards.
DO NOT SEND CASH.
Delivery of your new passport:
Your passport will be sent to you from the UK and your supporting documents will be sent back to you from the Passport Processing Centre. Both shipments are delivered by DHL Worldwide.
You should receive your new British passport within four weeks from the date the fee is taken and assuming all your documents are in order. You should allow at least six weeks if it is a first time application, or you are replacing a lost or stolen UK passport.
Translations:
All foreign legal documents submitted with a passport application (such as birth/death/marriage certificates, divorce papers, change of name documents, affidavits, etc) should be translated into English by a Court Certified/Authorized Translator.
